  Experience

• My experience is in both interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary mountain research. Interdisciplinary projects often focus on the impacts of rural–urban development in mountain regions, primarily in the South American Andes, and are funded by the Austrian Science Fund, among others. Transdisciplinary projects often concentrate on the development of sustainable tourism in mountain regions, especially in the European Alps, and are funded by the Interreg Alpine Space programme, among others.
